I was inspired to develop a baby line of clothes after adopting my son Nicky. I was a single parent in the men's fashion business in San Francisco, where I had been involved with fashion for 10 years. After I adopted Nicky, I noticed that there was not much out there for little boys. Nicky and I moved to Petaluma in Sonoma County, California. While in Petaluma, I envisioned 12 baby socks, placed in an egg carton. The Perfect Little Dozen was born. After the success of the Perfect Little Dozen, I reinvented Trumpette by focusing all of my talent and expertise in the area of baby apparel, with exquisite packaging and fine attention to detail on our products.
