Blabla products are made from natural fibers of exceptional quality grown in Peru, making the line irresistibly soft and cuddly. The designers poetic, simple and vibrant style combined with the ancestral knowledge of the knitters has created products which look contemporary, yet feel like old friends.
Started in 2001, when Susan Pritchett and Florence Wetterwald, two long time friends, went to Peru. By chance, they discovered entire villages of expert knitters who had been keeping the tradition alive for generations. Inspired by their talent and gentleness, they decided to create their own line of knitted products for children. They first started with sweaters and hats, often with a finger puppet peeking out of a pocket. The collection now includes dolls, rattles, backpacks, tees, mobiles and blankets. In 2003, as the business was growing rapidly, Joseph Strong, Florence's husband joined blabla as a partner and created a solid business structure.
Warranty
All products sold by Lusso are warrantied by their manufacturer against material or construction defects for a limited time after purchase. This warranty information can be found on the product's page on our sites or will be bundled with the product itself when ordered. The time span of the warranty will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer; as the original owner of a new product from Lusso you can expect coverage ranging from months, years, or even lifetime of the product. In case of missing or damaged parts falling within the warranty period, please refer to your warranty documentation. Standard shipping is via FedEx or Canada Post. The estimated delivery time will be approximately 5 - 8 business days after the order is shipped. Delivery times will depend on the local delivery schedule of the carrier, and it may not be possible to make an appointment.
